Farmstead Medium is the perfect everyday cheese with a smooth creamy texture that makes it a great choice on a sandwich or melted in your favourite recipe. Produced at the on-farm cheese plant in New Hamburg, ON from 100% Holstein milk, Farmstead Medium is a 4 – 6-month-old cheese with developing Gouda flavours, and a slightly more savoury finish than the mild version. Farmstead Medium was a Finalist at the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix in 2015, and pairs exceptionally well with medium-bodied reds like Merlot or Syrah/Shiraz. (Available by special order).
