The Saganash is made from sheep’s milk, and has a very distinct rich and creamy texture and
flavour. A welcome addition to any cheese platter; Saganash is delicious served beside fruits
like juicy figs or ripe pears, with cured meats such as saucisson sec and prosciutto, or with fresh
vegetables and olives.
Black cherry jam is also a classic accompaniment. In the kitchen Saganash is a superb melter
and makes a mean grilled cheese sandwich, and takes a cheeseburger to the next level!
Lovely with a juicy Bordeaux, a robust red Rhone or a tawny Port.
