Description

Farmstead 3-Year-Old is a premium artisan farmstead Gouda cheese made from 100% Holstein milk. Produced at the on-farm cheese plant in New Hamburg, ON and lovingly aged for 3 years, this is the oldest cheese manufactured by Mountainoak Cheese, and it has a hard, flakey paste and slight mineral crystal crunch. Rich and complex with flavours of butterscotch and hazelnut, Farmstead 3-Year-Old was the Grand Champion at the 2017 British Empire Cheese Competition. This cheese pairs well with Cabernet Sauvignon.
