Farmstead Gold (Good Old Local Dairy) is a full flavoured farmstead Gouda cheese made from 100% Holstein milk. Produced at the on-farm cheese plant in New Hamburg, ON this is the most award-winning cheese manufactured by Mountainoak Cheese. Winner of 14 national & international awards, Farmstead Gold once again took first place this time at the 2023 Royal Winter Fair in the Firm and Hard – Interior Ripened category (excluding cheddars). This delicious cheese exudes hints of butterscotch and caramel, and pairs well with either a Pinot Noir or Baco Noir.
